Combined TCM therapy.
Patient Zhao was a 40-year-old female patient from China who was admitted at Beijing Puhua International Hospital with a diagnosis of liver cancer. Two years ago, Mrs. Zhao was diagnosed with liver cancer. Pathological diagnosis was: hepatocellular carcinoma.
Prior to her admission, she was hospitalized in a local hospital. Despite long treatment, she was unable to gain improvements and her condition had deteriorated as shown by liver function failure and jaundice. Her condition continued to progress. Her liver function was bad. She had a poor appetite and a poor mental spirit. She felt fatigued.
Combined TCM treatment: Determine the treatment based on differentiation of symptoms and signs. Strengthening the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors as a principle, accompanied with intravenous and local treatment of natural, herb based anti-cancer drugs.
After receiving the combined TCM therapy, Mrs. Zhao’s condition was getting better gradually. Her jaundice disappeared two months post treatment. Her liver function was also improved. Her appetite was much better than before. She was able to eat more food. She did not feel fatigued as much, and her mental spirit was well after the therapy. She looked more energetic compared to before treatment. After experiencing excellent results, she decided to continue the treatment for five more months. She had an overall examination after the whole treatment. It revealed that the lesion almost disappeared.
